Freelance Arts Therapists and Counsellors

NESSie is looking for Arts Therapists and Counsellors with relevant professional experience to join our growing team supporting children and young people, families and staff in educational settings across Hertfordshire.

Our bank of freelance therapists is at the heart of NESSie’s mission, which was developed in response to identified needs through working in collaboration with outside agencies in line with the Hertfordshire and national mental health strategy.

Experience working with looked after children, trauma and SEN is desirable but not essential.

Job title: Secondary Transition Worker Role

Location: Schools in Welwyn and Hatfield

Salary: £26,999 per annum pro rata

Hours: 13 hours a week. Term time only plus two weeks

Contract: Fixed term, part-time cotract from w/k 1st January 2022 – 31st October 2022 in the first instance due to funding

Deadline: Thursday 9th December, 5pm

Secondary Transition Worker Role

 

NESSie is looking for an energetic and positive team player to join our service, providing support for children and young people transitioning from primary to secondary schools.

 

The role is predominantly working with children and young people in groups or one-to-one. Strategies that prove successful would then be shared with the family and teacher to promote a continuous supportive approach.

Location: East Herts – Bishops Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Buntingford, Ware, Hertford and all surrounding villages

Salary: £26,999 per annum pro rata

Hours: 15 hours a week. Term time only plus two weeks

Contract: Fixed term, part-time contract from w/c 1st January 2022 – 31st July 2022 in the first instance due to funding
