The Incredible Years
A supportive programme for parents and carers of children aged 4–11 in Welwyn and Hatfield who are finding their child’s behaviour at home challenging. If your child displays behaviours such as anxiety, aggression, argumentativeness, destructiveness, or refuses to follow instructions, this course is designed to help.
Through a compassionate and practical approach, the programme supports you in developing effective parenting strategies tailored to your individual family’s needs.
You’ll also have the opportunity to talk with Nessie Parent Support Workers and connect with other parents, helping you build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a calmer home environment.

Parent Support Groups
If you’re finding your child’s behaviour at home challenging and feeling stressed, tired, or isolated, our support sessions are here to help. These sessions offer a safe and welcoming space where you can share your experiences and discuss your concerns with a Nessie therapist, a Family Support Worker, and other parents facing similar challenges.
The aim is for you to feel supported and understood, while gaining practical help to explore solutions and develop strategies that work for your family. Where needed, we can also guide you towards additional organisations and services that can provide further support tailored to your needs.
