Training for Professionals
Introduction and training in our models
NESSie ‘My World & Me’ – A parent and school programme for children with communication and emotional / behavioural difficulties
NESSie ‘My time’ – A child-led, play-based developmentally reparative and nurturing programme for schools
Additional trainings include:
- A foundation in emotional & mental health
- Anxiety & developing resilience: early years; adolescents or additional needs
- Bereavement & loss (including divorce and separation),
- Self-harm: Foundation or SLT safeguarding & risk assessment
- Positive behavior support (PBS)
- LGBTQI + & Diversity
- Assessment & evaluation in mental health needs and interventions
- Trauma & attachment
- Working with art, play and story to support positive mental health – this is a ‘train the trainer’ programme that runs over several weeks
- Coping with transition and change – for children with ASD / ADHD or emotional needs
- Positively responding to self-harming behaviours for a child with ASD
DfE Funded MH Leads Training
NESSie Foundation
This training has been assured for DfE grant-funded senior Mental Health Lead Training and is eligible for grant funding of £1200 to cover the entire cost of the course, your time and any additional requirements. This course is designed to support staff who are directly working with children and young people. It consists of eight 3-hour sessions with a blend of face-to-face and online presentations.
Supervision
Supervision offers support and professional development to manage both the professional and personal demands of their work.
