Supporting Young People with Anxiety & Change – Heritage Cambridge

Date(s) - 15/06/2021
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

NESSie IN ED CIC (NESSie) is a not for profit, community interest company that aims to support the mental health of children and young people (0-25).  To do this we do three things:  provide 1-1 or group therapy to children and young people; provide support and training forums to parents and provide supervision and training to professionals.  This is an online training session in support of the school’s chosen charity NESSie to support the mental health of children and young people.  This training aims to give parents insight into anxiety and the effect that change can have on our young people’s emotions.

This forum will offer the opportunity to better understand what anxiety is, why it might happen, and how this has been heightened by Covid-19. We will also be exploring strategies that can support a young person and help to develop confidence and resilience.

This training will be led by Rachel Lambie M.A, MBACP, HCPC Arts Psychotherapist & Viv Ofstedahl  B.Ed, B.SC Mental Health Lead in schools from NESSie.
