It’s not always easy for children to talk or understand their worries and anxieties.

By sharing our worries and anxieties, we can shrink them. Here is a great way to encourage and enable your child to think about and share their worries:

USE THE BOOK “HUGE BAG OF WORRIES” AND TALK
THROUGH THE WORRIES THE CHARACTER MAY HAVE.

YOU CAN EVEN CREATE YOUR OWN BAG OF WORRIES, SO YOU CAN GET
THEM OUT AND EXPLORE THEM, NAME THEM AND EITHER
GIVE THEM AWAY OR PUT THEM BACK IN BAG UNTIL YOU ARE
READY TO LOOK AT THEM AGAIN.
